The British Basketball League has secured a streaming partnership with Fubo Sports – the live, free TV network from FuboTV Inc. (d/b/a Fubo) (NYSE: FUBO), the leading sports-first TV streaming platform – to bring British basketball action to further audiences across the United States and Canada.
Under this agreement, Fubo Sports will stream a selection of weekend games as part of their diverse sports programming. The season programming schedule will be unveiled very soon.
Fubo Sports’ inaugural broadcast is slated to hit screens on Christmas Eve, when the London Lions host the Sheffield Sharks, with fans able to catch the Sharks in action once again on New Year’s Eve when they welcome the Manchester Giants. The deal allows North American fans to watch U.S. and Canadian players play ball on the other side of the Atlantic, further adding to Fubo Sports’ international sports programming.
Looking ahead to the New Year, fans can also catch British Basketball League action on Fubo Sports' YouTube channel, starting from January 2024.
