Patriots girls played their first game in the Plymouth and District U12s league and had a great time no matter the result. Here is what head Coach Paula had to say.
The girls were extremely excited about playing their first ever game. They were aware that they were playing a more experienced team but all agreed before the game to focus on their love of basketball and to enjoy the game. They went on smiling and played as a cohesive & supportive team. I saw some great defence, grit & determination, and they scored a couple of fabulous baskets. At the end of the game they were beaming with smiles and kind words for each other and their opponents. I couldn’t have been prouder.
